we've found a way out of here!

george, last night when we arrived, we both said we'd rather be in percy's shed!

in the daylight it's not as bad but it's still horrible.

we've been looking around at some other accommodation and think we may have found somewhere. we want to move to a place that is quieter and of a better standard. we've found a place about 9km down the road in shute harbour called coral point lodge.

hayley, we saw your place after we had booked this one and now we have decided we want to get out of airlie beach and move down to shute harbour. thank you so much for your help though! the holiday inn was great!

the strip on airlie beach is like a cheaper version of blackpool! full of young people getting wasted and tacky bright lights. however, to be fair to the place, the water front and man made lagoon area is really nice and for a brief moment you can forget what lies a 2 minute walk away.

once we've sorted out the hotels and stuff for the next week we may even go for a swim in the lagoon.

as well as looking at the place in shute harbour we have also decided to spend a couple of nights on daydream island (known as the jewel of the Whitsunday Islands), a 15 minute boat ride from shute harbour. it's fairly pricey (not over the top just a bit more than we have spent on accommodation so far) but we thought that while we are here we should definitely go to one of the whitsunday islands!

while we are there we can go snorkling the reef fringes, hopefully seeing the many clown fishes that supposedly live there, and there's an open air cinema so we might even get to see the new bond film!

jack the cockroach was a lot bigger than the one you stood on.... and christine.... it wouldn't fit in the backpacks and nor would they let this cockroach through as hand luggage. we have definitely learnt our lesson that you get what you pay for, though when we booked we didn't realise how cheap it was as we were desperate for somewhere to stay. so we should have planned ahead better too! but we now know that so we shouldn't make the same mistake again.

what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

one positive to come out of this, is we saved a bit of money for our accommodation on daydream island etc.

mum and mum we will email you both with the changes to our plans either over the next few days or as soon as we get back to marra's.

so finally, we are now quite a bit happier than we were last night. we've got one more night left here then we are out of here.

bye bye x x x

Surely you can't have a cheaper version of Blackpool? What's next, a more officious verion of Magoo? A thicker version of DD? A tighter version of Jacko?

And there's nowhere you should rather be than my shed! Except my conservatory (to which I have upgraded for the Christmas holidays).

Think before you write in future.

That is all

trust us james, you would have hated it and that's saying something!

you'd have to be tighter than jacko to want to stay here.

and thicker than dd to do it!

Yes dfinitely go and see Bond it's well worth it. Amy I was missing you the other day when I went to see Pan's Labyrinth, there aren't many people who want to go and watch subtitled fantasy horror war movies but I know you would have done. Greg you were sorely missed when FiveLive were reporting that Lippi was about to take over the reins at OT a few minutes before it was announced he was just bringing a team for a charity match. Arf-a-rama.

dfinitely = definitely.

"definitely" really is one of those tough words isn't it, there's been a lot of mention of the word.

amy definitely would have come to see it with you, and greg says anyone who employs alan green must be on a wum.
