sun, sea, sand and a missing phone

yesterday we went to jan juc beach, it was a really nice day and we sunbathed, played in the sea and greg, marra and a few of his mates played beach cricket.

i'd love to show you some nice pictures of the beach but to be honest it was too nice relaxing to take any pictures.

it's starting to get really warm now and we're both starting to get a bit of colour... after two weeks sunbathing in cairns we should have a nice tan i hope!

after a few hours we were all dying for a drink so decided to call it a day, on the way home my grandad called me which was nice, and really good to hear his voice.

that evening we went out for a meal at an italian restaurant called 'town and country' which was good but way too filling. greg, as usual, ended up eating more than me and marra put together.

on the way home we stopped at bianca's house to pick her up and went home and
watched 'the rules of attraction'.

after the film, just as we were about to go to bed, greg couldn't find his phone, after looking all round the house and in the car, whilst calling it to see if we could hear where it was, we started to get a bit worried. greg was thinking that it may have been taken and someone might be running up a huge phone bill. we thought he might have dropped it in the video store or the petrol station so he and marra drove round to have a look (it was 12.30am so the video shop was closed so they could only look through the window). still no luck, so he called his mum to get her to call o2 to either stop the contract or put it on hold.

by this time i had come to the conlusion that there was nothing we could do til morning, so went to bed...

greg started looking round the sofa where he had been sitting, while saying "i really hope i don't find it here"... next thing i know greg pops his head round the bedroom door with his phone in his hand... marra had found it wedged somewhere in the sofa, we still don't quite understand why we couldn't hear it ringing...

Typical Greg. Never one to worry about all those sentimental text messages and photo's he'd lose, or how getting all those numbers again would be a pain in the arse, he spends all night worrying about how some Aussie scallies might and an extra 50p to his phone bill ordering a pizza.

You owe me a pint.
