we arrived in townsville last night after a 6 hour coach journey and went for a meal at a place called 'hog's breath cafe', they did really nice iced chocolate!
on the way here greg saw a crocodile in a river!!! i didn't see it and was very jealous but glad we were on a coach and not walking across the bridge!
the holiday inn was really nice, the most comfy bed we have stayed in all trip!
today we are, again, waiting to travel down the coast, this time on a train to airlie beach. the train takes 4 hours plus a twenty minute bus journey once there, so we expect to get to our accommodation around 9pm.
airlie beach is supposed to be quite a lively town and there are a few clubs and things near by... which will be quite different from yorkeys knob!
dib (lucy allen's sister) is currently living in sydney but is coming up to the whitsunday area tomorrow so we will try and meet up with her along the way.
well, we'll be in touch with some more pictures once we're in airlie beach.

Hey, sorry not been on for a bit, i only have a computer that works really well at work, so dont really log on a weekends, and i was off sick yesterday, glad you enjoyed the holiday inn, was it cheaper when you went direct? Was worried this morning when i realised that i hadnt been in to sort anything for you, but if i just reccommend some, they're usually cheaper going yourselves, than me booking them here! I will post some for the place you are at today (cant remeber the name right this mo, and if i go back to look, i'll lose what i've wrote) It looks amazing.I have seen a huge spider at Ricks the size of my hand, and I squeeled the house down, but he didnt move it, he left it to crawl upstairs!! :-( The pics look great, getting really jealous now!!!

Hey, me again, had a look for accomm in Airlie Beach, there's not much showing on my system, one that looks nice is the Best Western Mango House Resort, link: http://mangohouse.bestwestern.com.au/default.asp?m=1&sm=20 , the price on my system is £59.73 ($150) per room per night for you both, canx pol is 1600 on 12/11. Not sure how close it is to everything though. Hope this helps, there may be more places to stay when you get there that are right in the centre of everything xxx
Hey sorry, i've been missing in action for 4 days, so have lots to talk about!!!
