NEVER GO THERE!!!!!
this is the most disgusting place we have ever been, and we wouldn't wish it upon anyone! not even liverpool supporters!
basically we were in townsville this morning and had to get some acommodation, so in a state of panic we booked into this place. just got here and got our room key, walked down the dingy path to our room, there are bugs and lizards and all sorts of creepy crawlies everywhere. we got to the room and walked in to find it very lived in... there was a half empty bottle of fanta, a left over cup of tea and a very sickly looking stain on the unmade lived in bed that looked as though it's last occupant had just stepped out of it after a very heavy night!
we went back to reception and got two more room keys and were told to pick one. the first had damp patches here there and everywhere and there was a massive cockroach sat outside the second one. we have settled on the second as it's fairly clean looking inside and we need a bed as it's 10.40pm. we have the room booked for two nights but first thing tomorrow morning we look for a new place for tomorrow night!
we are both pissed off, upset and worried about the long night ahead! amy suggests getting pissed and staying out as late as possible so we don't have to go back to the room. greg thinks it looks so popular outside because no one wants to go inside their room.
we are off to drown our sorrows, we'll update you as soon as we can, if we make it through the night!
we didn't save up for a year to stay in places like this!

amy, do you remember when i stood on that cockroach in rhodes, was it as big as that one? that one was gigantic!!!
